As our Congressman, Brent Taylor will fight hard to bring inflation under control and lower the cost of living. He already delivered results in the Tennessee Senate by forcing large data centers to pay their full share of power infrastructure costs instead of sticking families with the bill. In Washington, Brent will support President Trump’s agenda: cutting reckless federal spending, slashing burdensome regulations, and delivering real economic relief to the hardworking people of our district.

High energy prices continue to squeeze farmers, truckers, manufacturers, and working families across our state. Brent Taylor’s strong conservative record proves he understands the problem and knows how to fix it. In the State Senate, he protected families from higher electric bills by fighting costly mandates, supporting reliable natural gas infrastructure, and making sure big tech data centers pay their own way instead of passing the costs on to everyone else. In Washington, Brent will promote American energy production to lower costs for families and businesses and improve our national security by expanding domestic oil, natural gas, and nuclear power. In the Tennessee Senate, Brent led on immigration enforcement by sponsoring the law requiring sheriffs to honor ICE detainers and cracking down on human smuggling. In West Tennessee, he directly confronted the crime and drug trafficking problems that ravage our communities. In Washington, he will fight to finish the border wall, restore strong enforcement, deport criminal illegal immigrants, end sanctuary policies, and strengthen cooperation among federal, state, and local law enforcement so Tennessee families are protected.

Tennesseans deserve to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. That starts with fully supporting the men and women who wear the badge every day. As our Congressman, Brent Taylor will be a relentless champion for law enforcement. Brent worked with Senator Blackburn leading the charge for the law enforcement surge that resulted in President Trump creating the Memphis Safe Task Force. As a result, crime dropped dramatically. In the Tennessee Senate, Brent backed our police by strengthening legal protections for officers, improving line-of-duty death benefits, and fighting against woke policies that tie the hands of law enforcement. In Washington, he will push for more federal resources for recruitment and retention, cut bureaucratic red tape on officers, and ensure even stronger coordination so our communities stay safe. We can’t Take Tennessee to the Top without supporting law enforcement. 

Hardworking families in Tennessee should never have to live in fear of repeat offenders and violent criminals. Brent Taylor believes dangerous criminals belong behind bars — not back on our streets. In the State Senate, Brent delivered real results by sponsoring tough bail reform, supporting stronger penalties for violent and firearm-related crimes, and holding soft-on-crime prosecutors accountable. In Congress, he will put the safety of law-abiding citizens first by demanding long sentences for repeat violent offenders, limiting early release for dangerous criminals, and cracking down hard on gangs and fentanyl traffickers.

Brent Taylor stands with Middle and West Tennessee’s farmers, cattlemen, and landowners. He knows our producers are getting squeezed by high input costs for fertilizer, fuel, seed, and chemicals, low commodity prices, drought, and the rapid loss of productive farmland at nearly 10 acres per hour. As a State Senator, Brent delivered real results by sponsoring and passing the law that reformed isolated wetlands regulations to give farmers and property owners clearer rules and less bureaucracy. In Washington, he will protect private property rights and cut federal overreach. He will support voluntary farmland preservation programs that respect landowner choice, ensure honest labeling so real Tennessee beef isn’t undercut by lab-grown products, lower production costs, and help keep family farms strong and viable for the next generation.
